Thank You Joe Critchlow

Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance is saying a big thank you to Joe Critchlow, who has raised an incredible £5,900 for his local air ambulance.

Joe, who is 14, saw the air ambulance while it was out on a mission and, after speaking to the pilot at the scene, he took it on himself to raise money for the vital charity. With help from his family and friends he contacted people in the area to donate lots for a community auction.

He set himself a target of £1,000 but he went on to smash his target and raise an amazing £5,900 for the air ambulance.

Pictured at the cheque presentation from left to right are his dad, Charlie Critchlow, Jack Critchlow, his mum, Chantel Critchlow, Joe Critchlow, and Pete Corbett, community fundraiser for the Derbyshire Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance.

Thank you to everyone who made this a very worthy story, the staff of the Greyhound Warslow for holding the event and especially Joe’s family for all their hard work in making this a success.
