Leave a gift in your will
Including a gift in your Will provides valuable support that helps Your Local Air Ambulance save lives across the areas we serve, as well as the National Children’s Air Ambulance, which transfers critically ill babies and children across the UK.
Whether you’re already supporting us or are looking for a charity to leave money to in your Will, we have all the information in our brochure to help make any decisions before the time comes.

WRITING YOUR WILL ONLINE
Having an up-to-date Will is the only way to be sure the people and causes you care about are looked after.
With our digital partner, MyIntent you can make a start on your Will immediately. Just go online any time that suits you, register and complete the online Will interview. If you need help they have hundreds of guidance articles, use an online chat or you can book a support call.
Once the registration and online interview are complete, you’ll receive online legal advice tailored to your circumstances. This will be in the form of recommendations, and sometimes requirements, from MyIntent’s in-house Solicitor.
You can book a free legal appointment to discuss any of these in more detail, then decide if you’d like to go ahead with a free basic Will or pay for the additional protection discussed.
Or, as long as a free basic Will is suitable for your circumstances, you can choose the convenience of having your Will delivered straight to your inbox.
However you choose to complete it, you’ll receive your Will along with instructions on signing it correctly in front of witnesses. You’ll also receive a Letter of Advice summarising everything you’ve been told and setting out what your Will does and doesn’t do.
Please consider leaving a gift to The Air Ambulance Service when you make your Will. Your generosity will help us to carry on our vital work long into the future.

ONE IN SEVEN OF OUR MISSIONS IS FUNDED BY GIFTS IN WILLS.
That’s 1 out of every 7 chapters of The Air Ambulance Service’s history, written by someone wanting their own final chapter to be a new beginning for someone else.
We know that when you are making your Will your loved ones will come first. But we hope, once you have taken care of your family and friends, that you will consider including a gift in your Will to Your Local Air Ambulance or the National Children’s Air Ambulance.
A gift in your Will will help us save lives – it will help us be there for families in their greatest hour of need. It will give people futures that they might otherwise have had taken from them, what a legacy.
Should you choose to include a gift to us in your Will, we will always respect your privacy and handle your estate and wishes with care. We will ensure your donation will be used for the greatest impact and we can also offer you a choice of how and where your gift is used.
We are delighted to offer our supporters an opportunity to write or amend their Will, at no cost, thanks to our partnership with the National Free Wills Network. If you would like to take part in the scheme please email [email protected] with your name and address and reference ‘National Free Wills Network’. Your details will then be passed on to the Network, who will contact you with a list of nearby participating solicitors.
If you would like to talk to someone about this way of giving then please call our team on 03003 045 999, or email us at [email protected] and one of our team will be in touch.
LEAVING A LASTING LEGACY
A gift in your Will can help us continue to save lives long into the future. Whether it’s a percentage of your estate or a fixed sum, every legacy helps keep our helicopters flying and our critical care teams saving lives when it matters most.

Writing your Will
A professionally written Will — and keeping it up to date — is the only way to ensure your wishes are carried out. We recommend speaking with a solicitor and deciding who you would like to benefit from your estate, including the causes close to your heart, before your appointment. You can write your Will online with our digital partner MyIntent, here.

Information for Executors
We appreciate the complexity and time needed to complete the administration of an estate and are grateful for all the work carried out by executors to realise gifts to our charity. If you need any assistance during the process, please contact our team on 03003 045 999 or via email.
Why have I made a legacy in my will? The Air Ambulance Service receives no government funding relying purely on donations. Thankfully, I haven’t been in the position where I’ve needed their help! However, I’d be absolutely devastated if this amazing service wasn’t available should me, my family or my friends need them. They do such an amazing job and I’m grateful for their wonderful work.
