Thank You Paul and Diana
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) is saying a big thank you to Paul Draycott and Diana Kirkup as they cycle 550 miles across France from La Rochelle to Geneva. Their have currently raised an incredible £1,350 but are hoping to raise £1,700, the cost of one of our missions.
In October 2015 Paul was seriously injured in a road traffic accident and was airlifted by DLRAA to Walsgrave hospital with multiple fractures and internal injuries. Whilst in hospital Paul read a book by Susie Kelly who had walked from La Rochelle to Geneva and this became his inspiration to cycle this route with his wife Diana.
You can help Paul and Diane reach their goal by heading to their JustGiving page.
Thank you again from everyone at the air ambulance – without you, we wouldn’t be able to continue our lifesaving work.
