Hundreds make Ride In a roaring success

Hundreds of motorcycle fans turned out for Sunday’s incredible record-breaking Ride In event.

About 700 motorbike enthusiasts gathered at the Bruntingthorpe race circuit in Leicestershire  during the morning for our popular annual ‘Ride In’ fundraiser.

They performed a mass two mile lap of the famous race track before leaving in convoy for Brackley Festival of Motorcycling in Northamptonshire.

It’s anticipated the Ride In has raised an incredible £10,000 for the local Air Ambulance. It was the biggest and best to date.

Most of the excellent pictures in our photo gallery were taken by volunteer Rob Hitchman.

The Air Ambulance’s events manager Richard Loader said: ”It was a fantastic atmosphere and it was great to be part of something so big and it was an amazing spectacle.

”We would like to thank the Police, Midland Bike Marshals, our volunteers and everyone who participated in the event which raised an incredible £10,000 for the Air Ambulance.

”Special thanks to Bruntingthorpe for allowing us to use their track, to DroneWorks for the aerial footage of the lap and to Rob Hitchman for photos of the event.”
