DLRAA celebrates seventh birthday

Balloons and banners came to East Midlands Airbase early this April, as Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) celebrated their seventh birthday.

DLRAA has completed over 6,800 missions since it was established in 2008, helping to save lives all over the three counties it serves. From road traffic collisions to medical emergencies; from sports injuries to industrial accidents, DLRAA have been there for thousands of people in need.

Today is a celebration of seven years of lifesaving excellence.

Happy birthday to our Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance, and many happy returns.

Every mission costs approximately £1,700 and on average we attend six rescue missions a day.
