Charity Shop Volunteering
If you’re looking for a volunteer position in our charity shops, then we want to hear from you. Whether it’s behind the scenes sorting clothes or front of house at the till, we have roles to suit all levels of experience.

Volunteer in Our Charity Shops

We have a number of roles across our 55 shops so if you’re wanting to become part of our team, we’re confident we’ve got a role to suit you. Most of our shops are based in our main 5 counties, however many of our Children’s Air Ambulance shops are over the country including London, Doncaster and Oxford.
Volunteering for charity shops is the perfect way to gain experience in the retail sector and learn new skills including visual merchandising, social media posting and stock control from all of the goods our stores see donated on a daily basis.

INFORAMTION ON SAFEGUARDING.
We treat the safeguarding of our staff and volunteers with the utmost importance to make sure people feel happy and confident in their roles. With this in mind, we have a safeguarding policy that is available for all staff and volunteers.

Whether you have a desire to be front of house serving customers in our Landing Pad cafe, or behind the scenes steaming clothes ready for sale, there’s a role that will suit you.

I decided to volunteer with TAAS, as no one ever knows when they might need their help. I work from 9 till 4 every Friday and I love it. I started in the Donations area and now work on the till, which I love to do. I love the Customer Service side, chatting with customers, so many who have had to use TAAS themselves or know others who have.
