Our volunteers are at the heart of our charity. We have a growing number and range of volunteering roles. If you’d like to give some of your time, no matter how many hours, we’ll help find the right role for you.

Where to Donate Your Time

We’re grateful to everyone who gives their time as a volunteer. Whether it’s speaking to groups of people to raise awareness of our services, helping us with admin in our Head Office or supporting us at an event, donating your time to our charity is invaluable to us. Without our volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to continue to provide the incredible service that we do for so many and the growth of the charity is also possible because of the time donated to those who are passionate about our goals.

Become a shop volunteer

Whether you have retail experience and want to help out in our stores, or just love the idea of being part of our wonderful retail network, volunteering your time in store is a great way to support our charity.

Find out more about how to go about volunteering in one of our shops and the different roles our retail function has for you to choose from.

Corporate Volunteering Opportunities

If you’re a business interested in supporting us, we have a number of volunteering opportunities for you and your staff. Whether you’re a sole trader or a national corporate, we’d love to have you on board.

The Air Ambulance Service has many opportunities for corporates including our Charity Shop Challenge, increasing our #TheCrew membership and organising Challenge Events.

I chose to volunteer with the Air Ambulance service because I wanted the chance to make a small contribution to a brilliant organisation. The role I volunteered for allowed me to fit in voluntary work alongside my own work and life commitments, and I have been able to do that from home, which was the flexibility I needed.
