Donate furniture to charity

Using our collection services or arranging a drop off to one of our superstores, we can sell your unwanted furniture in our shops and online which helps to keep our cars on the road and helicopters flying.

Could your old tables, chairs and drawers help us save lives?

We all have unloved furniture, whether it’s a table that no longer matches the latest renovation or a lack of space for a 3-piece suite, donating your quality furniture can help to raise vital funds for The Air Ambulance Service.

Using our collection services or arranging a drop off to one of our superstores, we can sell your unwanted furniture in our shops and online which helps to keep our cars on the road and helicopters flying.

What furniture can I donate?

Quality is the key when thinking about donating items, whether it’s toys, clothes, electronics or furniture, knowing what will be accepted before arranging a collection or heading into store will save time and money.

  • Bed frames – but not duvets or pillows
  • Chairs and sofas
  • Dining sets
  • Garden furniture
  • Desks and office furniture
  • Wardrobes, dressers and cabinets
  • Bookcases

DID YOU KNOW: It can actually cost charities to dispose of sellable items, taking money that could be used to help save lives

What happens to donated furniture?

When you donate to us, your items are reviewed in terms of their condition to ensure they are in a resaleable state, before being sold in our brick-and-mortar shop or listed for our eBay store.

The proceeds from the toy sales support the lifesaving work we complete across the charity, both locally for our HEM service and nationally for our Children’s Air Ambulance.

With each mission costing £2,300 for the local air ambulance and £3,600 for the Children’s Air Ambulance, your unwanted toy donations are the perfect way to help us reach more patients.

What furniture is not accepted for resale?

We request that all furniture is in a safe condition before donating in store. We are unable to accept any furniture that has the following

  • Broken or incomplete
  • Sharp edges or frames
  • Stained or poor condition
  • Dirty and unkept
  • Missing fire labels

If you are unsure if your furniture donation is suitable or not please get in touch with us using the button below.
