Our tribute to Her Majesty The Queen
Upon hearing the sad news of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, The Air Ambulance Service would like to pay tribute to The Queen for 70 years of dedicated service to our nation.
Her Majesty The Queen ruled for longer than any other Monarch in British history – becoming a much loved and respected figure across the nation and the world.
Her extraordinary reign saw her travel more widely than any other monarch, undertaking many historic overseas visits. Known for her sense of duty and her devotion to a life of service, she has been an important figurehead for the UK and the Commonwealth.
She saw public and voluntary service as one of the most important elements – with a passion for emergency services and the armed forces – and was the Royal Patron of over 600 charities and organisations throughout her reign, which she will never be forgotten for.
The Queen’s life saw many accomplishments including raising four children and welcoming grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to the Royal Family. On behalf of everyone at The Air Ambulance Service, we send our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to the Royal Family during this difficult time.
We mourn together with the nation, Commonwealth, and the world.
