The Air Ambulance Service to appear at The Great British Farm Fest

The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) will be hosting a stall at the much anticipated, UK’s biggest country fair and music festival – The Great British Farm Fest.

The Great British Farm Fest will take place on 22, 23 and 24 May at NAEC Stoneleigh, Warwickshire and will include three days of farming, food, livestock and good old-fashioned countryside chaos across twelve packed arenas.

The weekend will host many famous faces such as Jeremy Clarkson, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Sara Cox and Ricky Wilson.

The Air Ambulance Service will be attending to help raise vital funds to support future lifesaving missions with fundraising games, as well as visitors being able to be part of the foundation of the new Big Base Appeal by buying a brick – the name or dedication becomes part of a mission-ready base, helping keep the crews ready to respond when every second counts.

The charity must act now to deliver the first phase of the Big Bases Appeal — the new South Base — due to significant operational challenges affecting the current locations.

The Air Ambulance Service delivers lifesaving care through two vital services.
Your Local Air Ambulance brings rapid emergency care to communities across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. The National Children’s Air Ambulance operates across England, Scotland and Wales, providing specialist transfers for critically ill babies and children.

Crew members from both vital services, Your Local Air Ambulance (YLAA) alongside a critical care car and the National Children’s Air Ambulance (NCAA) will also be attending. Visitors can meet members of the operations team and take a closer look at the lifesaving equipment they use for each mission.

This Farm-Fest bank holiday event promises to show the best of British.

“Field to fork, goats to farming greats, tractors to absolute tunes. Farmers work hard, but by Jove we play hard too. We’re opening our doors so you can come and party with the people who grow your grub,” said Team Farm-Fest.

Sally Newman, Community Fundraising Executive for Warwickshire said:

“We’re incredibly excited to be attending Farm-Fest and it promises to be three fantastic days packed with great stalls, evening entertainment and even appearances from the cast of Clarkson’s Farm.”

“Our charity will be there across all three days raising vital funds to help build our new bases brick by brick.

“We would love it if as many people as possible could stop by our stall to learn more about us, why our lifesaving service is so important and how together, we can save more lives,” she expressed.
