Hannah Tuffnell had a normal and healthy pregnancy until she was involved in a road traffic accident in May 2023. It was from that moment that Hannah knew something wasn’t quite right with her baby Isabella.
Leo’s parents first realised that their son had been in a serious car accident when they received a ‘crash alert’ from the family’s location-sharing app. On the 26th March 2025, Leo lost control of his car near his home in Mastin Moor, crashing head on into a tree.
Income raised from ticket sales and donations help keep our aircraft in the sky, helping us to transfer critically ill children and babies to the urgent care they need across the country as National Children’s Air Ambulance – and keep our aircraft and critical care cars running 24/7, 365 days a year, saving lives across our five counties across central England as Your Local Air Ambulance.
We run three seasonal raffles each year, which contributes to the running of our vital service.
