#GivingTuesday

What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is the global day of giving and urges people to give back to charities and good causes, traditionally following the shopping frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday at the end of the year

Whether it’s giving your time, money or supporting via a simple Tweet, there are so many ways to get involved.

When did this day start?

Since the launch of the idea in US back in 2012,  over 70 countries are now involved in raising awareness of this event, with more business and charities becoming partners – including us at The Air Ambulance Service.

Here’s some information on the event and how you can get involved in giving back with #GivingTuesday on their second day of the year to support charities amid COVID-19 on the 29th November 2022.

How To Get Involved

Whether it’s fundraising for a great cause like ours, working to promote Giving Tuesday, or sharing ideas you’ve seen, watched or heard about, every little helps to raise awareness.

If you’re giving your time, pennies or pre-loved items to us, let us know and we’ll make sure you’re equipped with all the tools and information to get the most out of your time and effort.

How Can You Give?

Giving Tuesday isn’t about avoiding the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, it’s considering who could benefit from your time, spare change, pre-loved clothes or furniture, skills and knowledge.

If you think you can give something back to someone in the community, we want to know so get in touch with our volunteer team.

Your impact

It’s never been easier to give and make a positive impact on someone else’s life. See how we’ve helped patients already, and how your giving can make the difference.
