Education business ‘Booost’ lifesaving charity

Booost Education has raised vital funds to support the lifesaving missions of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

Booost Education provides all the tools students need to organise and overcome barriers to study, with no more jumping between apps and services.

Throughout 2023 the software company have donated 50p to the lifesaving charity for each product or licence sold, incredibly raising a total of £3,031, helping to save more lives across Derbyshire and further afield.

“It has been a real privilege to support the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance by helping to fund the lifesaving work they do,” said Curtis Jones, Digital Marketing Coordinator.

“Our charity partner was chosen by a vote among our entire network and the fact that the charity was chosen shows just how much everyone here values the important service they provide,” he added.

Within minutes, DLRAA’s critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital emergency care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each rescue mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.

Tracey Jones, Community Fundraising Executive for Derbyshire said:

“We would like to say a big thank you to everyone at Booost Education for the amazing amount they have raised to support our lifesaving charity. These vital funds will support further lifesaving missions and keep our helicopters flying 24/7, 365 days a year.”

“Without support like this from local communities and businesses we wouldn’t be able to continue providing pre-hospital critical care to those who need it most,” she added.
