Sheffield Clarins consultants join forces to support lifesaving children’s charity
Clarins consultants from Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield have joined forces with the Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) to support their lifesaving missions.
On 22 February 2024, Olivia Bennett and Samantha Marshall, Clarins consultants based in Sheffield used their ‘We Care’ corporate volunteering day to help out at the Children’s Air Ambulance Superstore in Sheffield.
Throughout their ‘We Care’ volunteering day the ladies took part in equipment handling and training as well as sorting, hanging, tagging and sizing a whopping four trolleys worth of donations.
“We both had a fantastic day in the Sheffield Superstore and learnt all about the children’s charity. The amount of donations the staff and volunteers work through on a daily basis is eye opening and we can’t wait to be back again to support the charity next year,” said Olivia Bennett.
The Children’s Air Ambulance is a charity changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care through the high-speed transfer of critically ill babies and children – flying them from one hospital to another for specialist care via the clinically designed helicopters, which provide a flying intensive care unit for babies and children.
The charity hails over 1,200 dedicated volunteers – and with over 50 different volunteering roles are always looking for more people to donate their time or expertise.
Cherry Crane, Children’s Air Ambulance Assistant said: “We would like to say thank you to Olivia and Samantha for choosing to support our children’s charity on their ‘We Care’ volunteering day. We couldn’t operate without our dedicated volunteers and their support helps us to save lives.”
