Our Visit to John Whitgift Academy – Grimsby

Last week we visited a high school, John Whitgift Academy, up in Grimsby where  the Children’s Air Ambulance has been chose to be their charity of the year. Our CEO, Andy Williamson, got to meet some of the fantastic students of this great school, which is an honour and privilege;nn“I enjoyed an inspiring visit to the John Whitgift Academy in Grimsby which is part of the Delta group who have adopted Children’s Air Ambulance as their charity for 2019.  Our young generation often get a bad press but these kids were enthusiastic, well behaved and eager to get involved and make a difference, that’s the sort of visit that can really lift you.  My thanks to Matthew Bee, teacher for organising it and I look forward to going back again in the new year.  I even learned how to take a proper selfie!”nnWe look forward to many more visits over the course of the year and can’t to see what great fundraising events will come from this amazing academy.nn nnnn
