Supporters and corporate partners from across the region will come together this weekend for the National Children’s Air Ambulance (NCAA) Race Day, taking place on Saturday 8 November 2025 at Doncaster Racecourse.
Now in its fourth year, the event has become a highlight in the charity’s calendar, uniting businesses and individuals who share a passion for saving young lives. Coinciding with the final major race of the British flat season, the day promises a vibrant atmosphere that blends the excitement of live racing with meaningful moments of connection and celebration in support of a lifesaving cause.
Guests will enjoy a varied programme of entertainment and fundraising, including inspiring speeches, fun games, expert racing tips from the event’s tipster, and both silent and live auctions featuring exclusive prizes.
This year’s Race Day will welcome around 120 guests and is supported by a number of generous corporate partners whose contributions have been instrumental in making the event possible. Alongside raising vital funds, the day also helps to raise awareness of the charity’s essential work across the UK.

Speaking ahead of the event, CEO Peta Wilkinson said: “We are incredibly proud to once again host Doncaster Race Day. Every supporter here helps us continue to fly critically ill babies and children to the specialist care they need. It’s through events like this that we truly see how communities and businesses can come together to make a lifesaving difference.”
The National Children’s Air Ambulance is the UK’s only helicopter transfer service dedicated to babies and children. Operating two helicopters equipped as flying intensive care units, the service works alongside 11 Clinical Partner Teams nationwide to provide rapid and safe transfers for young patients in urgent need of specialist treatment.
Receiving no government funding, the charity relies entirely on donations and corporate support, with each mission costing an average of £5,500 to complete.
As the curtain closes on the British flat racing season, Doncaster Race Day will not only provide a thrilling sporting spectacle but also celebrate the generosity and commitment of the charity’s corporate partners, whose ongoing support enables the NCAA to continue its vital lifesaving missions across the UK.
