A Leicester Christmas Light Display Sparkles in Support of DLRAA

Each year, the Toones light up Christmas with several thousands of pounds worth of decorations on their front lawn, and this year is no exception. This Sunday, Fred, 91, with his wife Eileen, 86, are ready to light up Sextant Street in Thurnby Lodge with their incredible Christmas light display.

It will be the 31st year in a row that Fred and Eileen have been flashing their festive Christmas lights, and for the last seven years, the couple have used their hard work to raise money for several charities. This year, they’re supporting us, their local Air Ambulance Service, with donations from the people the displays will draw in.

The lights have now officially been switched on and the Christmas spirit is in full swing so it’s now it’s time to sit back and wait for Santa to arrive!
