Last week, guests came together for an evening of business and pleasure at The Ivy, West Street, for our latest ‘Leading Lights’ dinner in support of our Children’s Air Ambulance.
The evening began with a Champagne reception where guests had the chance to meet and mingle, followed by a delicious three-course dinner. Guests were addressed by Children’s Air Ambulance CEO, Andy Williamson, to raise the awareness of the vital work of our service which is dedicated to flying critically ill babies and children to the specialist care that they need, Paediatric Intensive Care Consultant Dr Shelley Riphagen and the Leading Lights panel.
Many of our special guests are from the worlds of business, politics, sport, entertainment, arts and the media; making every event interesting and fun. The Leading Lights panel for this exquisite evening were:
Nick Mason CBE – Rock legend, drummer and founder member of Pink Floyd
Toyah Willcox – Punk legend, stage/screen actress and music composer
Taj Atwal – Actress, known for her roles in award-winning comedy ‘Stella’ and drama ‘Line of duty’
Mackenzie Thorpe – Renowned artist celebrating 30 years of artistic practice
Here are some of the great things the panel shared with us:
