The Air Ambulance Service to host Christmas Carol services in Northampton, Market Harborough & Rugby to raise lifesaving funds

TAAS' Christmas Carol service in 2024

This December, The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is inviting communities across Northampton, Market Harborough, and Rugby to come together for a series of festive carol services in support of its lifesaving work. Each event will bring the spirit of the season to local communities while raising vital donations to keep the charity’s helicopters flying and its critical care teams on the road when they are needed most.

Event details:

  • Northampton Christmas Carol Service – Thursday 4 December from 6pm till 8pm at The Holy Sepulchre, Church and Church Halls, Northampton
  • Market Harborough Christmas Carol Service – Thursday 11 December from 6pm till 8pm at St Dionysius’ Church, Market Harborough
  • Rugby Christmas Carol Service – Wednesday 10 December from 6pm till 8pm at St Andrew’s Church, Rugby

Each service will feature uplifting music, festive readings, and a warm community atmosphere – inviting supporters, families, and friends to celebrate the season and reflect on the power of giving.

As the charity receives no government funding for its daily missions, TAAS relies entirely on voluntary donations to operate. Support raised through these events will help fund the charity’s lifesaving emergency response across five counties (Your Local Air Ambulance), as well as our critical care transfers for children across the UK through the National Children’s Air Ambulance.

Morgan Turnbull, Events Manager, said: “Our Christmas carol services are a meaningful way for us to connect with our communities during a special time of year. As a charity funded solely by donations, these events help us sustain our lifesaving missions. Every hymn sung, every donation made, and every person who attends supports our crews and ensures we can be there when seconds count.
