Doncaster Mortgage Broker Firm helps to save young lives

The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) is pleased to announce its new corporate partnership with Burnett Mortgages, Doncaster.

Burnett Mortgages, a Doncaster whole of market mortgage broker firm with over 10 years experience in the Financial Services Industry, has named the vital inter-hospital transfer service – which flies critically ill babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care – as its Charity of the Year.

“Having two young children myself, I wanted to be able to support a charity that really resonated with me, which is why we chose to partner with the Children’s Air Ambulance due to the work they do to support the needs of critically ill children,” explained Burnett Mortgages Company Director, Simon Burnett.

With their ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, the Children’s Air Ambulance can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients, often the difference between life and death.

“It’s great knowing that every penny raised through donations and fundraising goes towards saving those most important to us all – our babies and children’s lives-” added Simon.

Looking forward to working with Burnett Mortgages – who pride themselves on making people’s journeys as smooth as possible – over the next year, Community Fundraising Officer for TCAA, Sharon Evans said:

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to Burnett Mortgages for choosing us to be their Charity of the Year.

“The Children’s Air Ambulance receives no government funding, so we are incredibly grateful for the support, from individuals and businesses alike, as we depend wholly on these partnerships and donations to keep us flying critically ill babies and children to the lifesaving treatment they need.”

The Children’s Air Ambulance charity is continually looking at ways in which it can increase support to the NHS and the clinical teams they work with, so corporate support from businesses is vital for the charity in continuing to lead the way in paediatric and neonatal transfer aviation, and to continue saving little lives.
