Charity partner is off to a flying start raising funds to support lifesaving missions

The Delta Group have got off to a flying start raising vital funds to support the lifesaving missions of the Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA).

The Delta Group offer a full-service offering of creative, manufacturing, digital and experiential activation services for various industries and campaigns. They have built up a broad range of experience across many categories over their thirty years of working with a vast array of brands and retailers.

The charity partnership with TCAA began in 2023, working with the charity in a variety of ways including, staff led fundraising, sharing skills in Pro Bono in creative and design, brand awareness projects and much more.

In 2023, Delta Group held a Christmas raffle and chose to raise funds to support the Children’s Air Ambulance and its lifesaving missions for critically ill babies and children across the UK, exceeding all expectations and raising over £3,000.

Mike Phillips, Executive Chairman at The Delta Group said:

“We are proud to stand alongside the Children’s Air Ambulance in their noble mission of providing a lifesaving service for critically ill babies and children. Our commitment to supporting their fundraising efforts stems from a shared dedication to ensuring every child receives the care and support they deserve in times of need.”

The Children’s Air Ambulance is a national service, changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care through the high-speed transfer of critically ill babies and children – flying them from one hospital to another for specialist care via the clinically designed helicopters which provide a flying intensive care unit for babies and children.

The charity works alongside 11 NHS Clinical Partner Teams across the UK, including CATS (Children’s Acute Transport Team) who are based at Great Ormond Street hospital in London and transfer critically ill babies and children to and from hospitals throughout England and Wales.

Partnerships with businesses such as this provide vital support to ensure the vital service can continue to save more lives.

Jo Payne, National Partnerships Manager for the charity said:

“On behalf of the charity I would like to say thank you to all the staff at Delta Group for raising vital funds to support us and I have been blown away by their tremendous generosity for our charity.

“We have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline with them and it is wonderful to see the enthusiasm they have for TCAA. We are incredibly grateful that some of the staff have even signed up to participate in one of our challenge events this year.”

“We receive no government or National Lottery funding and without support like this from communities and businesses we wouldn’t be able to continue to save little lives across the UK,” she added.
