The Air Ambulance Service has officially partnered with bulk tipping and haulage firm Rockley Transport who will carry the charity’s logo on its fleet of more than 90 vehicles.
One of the country’s leading names in the expansive bulk tipping and haulage sector, Rockley carries more than 1 million tonnes annually across the nation. Now each of the vehicles will proudly exhibit the logo of The Air Ambulance Service – which does not receive any government funding and relies entirely on voluntary donations and support from the communities it helps.
Rockley Transport Managing Director Stuart Morgan said: “We operate in the agriculture and construction sectors, which can be inherently hazardous. As safety is one of our core values, we felt an affinity for The Air Ambulance Service and the lifesaving care they provide when emergencies happen.
“We’re incredibly proud to officially partner with The Air Ambulance Service. The work carried out by their crews makes a real difference to people and families facing their most critical moments.
“Through this partnership we look forward to raising awareness, engaging our employees and supporting a service that touches communities across the UK.”
The Air Ambulance Service charity operates helicopter emergency medical services under the name “Your Local Air Ambulance” covering Warwickshire, Northamptonshire Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. It also operates the “National Children’s Air Ambulance”, a one-of-a-kind dedicated helicopter transfer service that has taken more than 1,200 critically ill babies and children to hospitals where they can receive the best care.
The Air Ambulance Service Strategic Communications Manager Owen Morris commented: “We are immensely proud to be the charity of choice for Rockley Transport, who have raised vital funds for us in the past to make sure our crews can help when they are needed most. Our logo will be on their fleet and carried the length and breadth of the nation – which will be incredible.
