Virgin London Marathon Raises £34,000

So this weekend saw another year of the Virgin London Marathon taking place, and we were there with bells on cheering on our supporters, as well as spreading awareness for the charity. We had an abundance of runners this year including our very own Camilla Raca (Press Officer) who did an incredible time of just over 5 hours!

It’s because of these amazing people we reached an impressive total of £34,000 – with more donations still hitting our accounts. Without this fantastic effort for fundraising, we wouldn’t be able to do half of things we can for both The Air Ambulance Service and The Children’s Air Ambulance. We want to thank everyone that took part, including our amazing staff that took the time out on Sunday to head down to the Big Smoke to cheer on those taking place; all of your time, patience, efforts and commitments means everything to the charity.

So here’s to all of the runners;

Local Air Ambulance

Mark Severn, Chloe Henderson, Adam Muxlow , Hatty Whitting, Andre Klein, Michael Harvey, Emma Beard, Ross Mcaulley, Faye Fry, Wendy Griffin, Karen Heslop, Ben Sterry, Jessica Melling, Lucy Bell, Liz Waldennn

The Children’s Air Ambulance

Dean Clegg, Camilla Raca, Andrew Barnett, Faye Fry, Pam Tarn, Patricia Gavins, Johnathon Townend, Aidan Collier, Nathan Bonney, Richard Kocierznnn nn
