Manchester charity store celebrates funding more than 200 lifesaving missions

The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) charity store in Salford is celebrating funding more than 200 lifesaving missions for critically ill babies and children across the UK.

The charity homeware store opened its doors on 22 October 2021 and is located in Regent Retail Park in Salford, Manchester. Over the past three years the hardworking charity store has generated an incredible £885,456 funding more than 200 lifesaving missions – enabling the charity to continue saving young lives across the UK.

The store continues to offer both new and pre-loved homeware, furniture, electricals, brand-new white goods, as well as clothing and accessories – offering a wide range for the local community.

The store has also received 11,593 bags of donated goods but continues to require support from the local community with further donations of new and preloved items, as these provide vital income for the charity.

The Children’s Air Ambulance is a charity changing the face of paediatric and neonatal care through the high-speed transfer of critically ill babies and children – flying them from one hospital to another for specialist care via the clinically designed helicopters, which provide a flying intensive care unit for babies and children.

Store Manager Alan Edwards said: “We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last three years. Without this support we wouldn’t have been able to continue to raise vital funds to support the charity’s lifesaving missions for critically ill babies and children across the UK.”

“The funds raised in our store will help to save little lives and we would encourage everyone to continue to donate their preloved items to us to keep our lifesaving missions possible,” he added.
