Happy International Women’s Day!

Today, we’re celebrating our amazing female Doctors and Critical Care Paramedics that are a crucial part of our workforce  .  Only of PHEM trainees and of FPHC members are female, with many false perceptions that women cannot have a career in PHEM. In total we currently have 12 female doctors and 5 female CCP’s (two are bank staff) working at The Air Ambulance Service across both Helimed53 (Warwickshire and Northamptonshire) and Helimed54 (Derby, Leicestershire, and Rutland). This makes up 29% of our workforce – a statistic we’re proud to say is nationally higher than other PHEMs organisations. nnOur inspirational female clinicians and CCPS’s play an extraordinary role in helping to save lives on a daily basis and it’s our aim to encourage many more amazing women to join our team! If you’re looking to begin a journey towards a truly rewarding career, take a look at our latest vacancies today. nn nn
