Children’s Air Ambulance speaks to Embrace

nnChildren’s Air Ambulance speaks to Doctor Steve Hancock from Embrace to find out from their perspective how we work together. Embrace are the neonatal and paediatric transport service for Yorkshire and the Humber and are part of Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundations Trust. They are based in Barnsley and undertake patient transfers for all children, from new-born infants up to teenagers, from within the Yorkshire region and beyond.nnThey have achieved accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) for road, helicopter and fixed wing patient transport. A flight from Leeds to London with Embrace and the Children’s Air Ambulance can take just 60 minutes.
