East Midlands business raises more than £26,000 to support charity’s lifesaving missions

RSM UK East Midlands have raised more than £26,000 to support the lifesaving missions of the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

RSM is a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services to the middle market. As an integrated team at RSM UK with 5,420 partners and staff operating from thirty-one locations across the UK, they have a culture of understanding what it means to deliver value, and to value what they do.

Every year the company chooses a charity to support during their fundraising between June and September and during 2024 they chose to support the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA).

Several fundraising events and activities were undertaken in the offices across the UK, with a league table to find the winning office where the amount they raised would be matched.

RSM UK East Midlands were the winning office, donating a phenomenal total of £26,173.33 to the vital charity to make more than eleven lifesaving missions possible.

“We are extremely pleased to have donated such a large amount to support the lifesaving charity and the vital work they do on a daily basis,” said Sheetal Sanghvi, Managing Partner at RSM UK.

Within minutes, DLRAA’s critical care crews can be on the ground delivering pre-hospital emergency care and giving patients the very best chance of survival – this vital service relies entirely on donations to raise the £2,300 needed for each lifesaving mission, as the charity receives no government or National Lottery funding.

“Thank you to everyone at RSM UK East Midlands for raising an absolutely incredible amount to support our charity and for making further vital missions possible,” said Tracey Jones, Community Fundraising Executive for Derbyshire.

“We rely on the generous support from local communities and businesses just like this to raise the £2,300 needed for each lifesaving mission,” she expressed.
