ART GROUP EVENT TO THANK LOCAL AIR AMBULANCE

The organiser of the Art Miscellany U3A group in Nantwich staged an event which raised £270 for the local air ambulance that she believes saved her son-in-law’s life.nnDoreen Crombs says: “I wanted to show how grateful I am to Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance for Dave, his life and that of my daughter and my grand and great grandchildren. Their invaluable work cannot be overestimated.”nnPart-time supply teacher Dave Farmer, from Crewe, sustained multiple injuries when he was involved in a road traffic collision in a remote location in the Peak District three years ago.nnAfter being pulled out of his burning car, he was stabilized by the air ambulance crew before being flown to hospital where – within an hour – he was receiving the lifesaving medical care he urgently needed.nnRead his full patient story here: https://theairambulanceservice.org.uk/stories/daves-story/
