YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A PARAMEDIC TO MAKE A difference
You may not be flying the helicopter or delivering critical care, but your support is just as vital.
There are so many ways you can get involved and help save lives. From donating and fundraising to volunteering or leaving a gift in your Will. Every action you take helps us continue our lifesaving work now and long into the future.
Because saving lives takes all of us, not just those in uniform.

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
The Air Ambulance Service provides vital, lifesaving care when every second counts, but many people don’t realise that we rely entirely on charitable donations to keep flying. Unlike other emergency services, we receive no government funding for our daily operations. Every mission we fly is powered by the generosity of people like you.
Our two services work tirelessly across the country:
-
Your Local Air Ambulance supports patients across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, flying over 3,700 missions in 2024 at an average cost of £2,500 per mission.
-
The National Children’s Air Ambulance provides specialist transfers for critically ill babies and children across the UK. Each transfer costs around £5,700, and the service completed over 200 transfers annually in 2023 and again in 2024.
To keep our helicopters in the air and our critical care teams ready to respond, we rely entirely on public support and charitable donations.
Together, we save more lives.
