Toy Donations
Donate Toys and Games to charity
Could your old toys or games help us save lives?
If you have unwanted toys and games gathering dust in a cupboard, did you know these could help raise vital funds for The Air Ambulance Service?
By donating fully working and complete toys, board games, jigsaws and electronics, we can sell in our stores and online, keep our helicopters flying or critical care cars on the road, and our Operation teams to reach those who need lifesaving care.
Donate toys to your local charity store
Across our HEMS and Children’s Air Ambulance service, we have over 50 stores where you can donate your quality games and toys. Pop in and speak to one of the friendly team, or drop at the donation station in one of our Superstores.
Unsure where your nearest store is. Use our local store finder.
What toys can I donate?
When it comes to donating to charity, whether it’s kids toys, clothes, electronics or furniture, it’s important to know what is accepted before making the journey into a store or a donation bank.
- Jigsaws and puzzles
- Dolls and dollhouses
- Boardgames and card games
- Remote control toys
- Games consoles
- Soft toys with CE labels
Before donating, we urge the following question: “Is this in a sellable condition?” If this answer is no, then unfortunately, we can’t accept it.
DID YOU KNOW: It can actually cost charities to dispose of sellable items, taking money that could be used to help save lives
What happens to donated toys?
When you donate to us, your items are assessed for condition, and electronics are PAT tested. They are then sold in our brick-and-mortar shop or listed for our eBay store.
The proceeds from the toy sales support the lifesaving work we complete across the charity, both locally for our HEM service and nationally for our Children’s Air Ambulance.
With each mission costing £2,300 for the local air ambulance and £3,600 for the Children’s Air Ambulance, your unwanted toy donations are the perfect way to help us reach more patients.

Where can I donate toys?
When it comes to where to donate toys, in addition to your local air ambulance or Children’s Air Ambulance stores, we have a number of donation stations, which are perfect for larger toys and games.
You can also donate to one of the many toy banks, which can be found on our donation drop-off map.
What toys are not accepted as donations?
Please donate games and donate toys but please make sure they are in good condition and must meet the following criteria before they are donated
- Complete and intact, with all pieces included.
- Clean and tidy
- Working without faults
- Remove batteries
- CE label on soft toys. Unfortunately, we cannot take any knitted or handmade soft toys without this label.
- Used toys (in good condition)
Any broken or dangerous toys will not be accepted as they cannot be resold.
