In Memory of Valerie Margaret Renshaw

Valerie was born in Gleadless, Sheffield, but lived for more than 50 years in the village of Clowne, Derbyshire.

Val began her working career singing in the local clubs which she thoroughly enjoyed. Even after she left that lifestyle behind to marry Terence Renshaw and raise their 7 children, 6 daughters Lucy, Diane, Dawn, Wendy, Val, Jean and 1 son Terence she kept on singing at home or in the local clubs on karaoke. Later she became a hard working care assistant.

Val enjoyed many hobbies over the years from knitting, needle craft, baking and decorating cakes, reading and watching her films.

Val had 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren.

Val turned 82 years of age on 08th February 2021, sadly just a nudge over 2 weeks later she passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness on the 22nd February 2021, that very same day her 15th Great Grandchild a Granddaughter was born just a few short hours later, proving the circle of life continues.

Val is loved and missed by many, she’s left a big hole that no one else can fill, so until we meet again...sleep tight, love you xxxx
