In Memory of

Robert Bisp Evans

Bob was born in Blaenavon, moving to Nuneaton aged 11, Trained as an engineer, but later joined the Ambulance service in Coventry. He served for over 30 years as a paramedic. Bob married and had 2 children, Sarah and David. He later remarried Pat, celebrating 42 years together

Robert's story

Bob cared very much about his profession, and would have been happy that donations could be made in his memory to a local ambulance service. He left laughter in his wake wherever he went, with his dry observational humour. He was a proud supporter of Welsh Rugby, but it was England when it came to cricket. He enjoyed his holidays in the sun with Pat and going on long walks together. Classical music was another interest held by Bob. He always had time for his family, putting them first and giving the best hugs ever. Bob will be greatly missed, but remembered fondly with love and laughter.

What is a gift in your will?

Legacies, also known as gifts in Wills, have a profound impact on our charity, funding 1 in 7 of our lifesaving missions. Legacies are another way in which you can honour a loved one’s memory and that gift allows their memory to live on long into the future, allowing us to save lives of future generations in their name. If you have included such a special gift in your Will, you can now show that on your loved one’s page with a pledge, or you can request to learn more about legacies with our free Gifts in Wills Guide.
