In Memory of Reginald Worth

Iwas born in 1948, in Coalville, Leicestershire

I started as an apprenticeship in19863 at Mattersons Loom Makers on Bridge Road, as a shuttle maker, also attending Coalville Technical College, (later to become Stephenson College,). I then moved ,to work at Loughborough Technical College.

In 1970 I returned to Coalville Technical College as a Technician gaining H.N.C. construction, Further Education Teacher’s Certificate, and Advanced Craft in Machine Woodworking Certificate.

I married My soulmate, in 1972.

I was promoted to Lecturer in 1980 and I was involved in many things College related.

After a heart attack and stroke I retired in 2006.

To aid my recovery I joined Rolls Royce Heritage Trust until it was disbanded at the start of Covid.
