Raymond's story
Ray served in the RAF as a flying instructor, leaving at the rank of Flight Lieutenant. Finding that he was unable to give up flying, Ray then worked for London School of Flying, British Airways and the Army, before retiring.
Ray and his beloved wife Chris moved to Hawlands, Rugby in 1983 to be closer to their family and, another love, the canals. Sadly, Chris passed away in 2003 but Ray remained living in Rugby.
Ray witnessed the Air Ambulance rescuing a pedestrian after a road traffic accident in Rugby and made the decision then to ask family, friends and neighbours to make donations to the Warwick & Northants Air Ambulance in his memory. Now we have to make Ray's wish happen and "keep his memory flying".
As we are unable to have a public funeral, and Ray requested no flowers, please donate here if you wish. Thank you.
