Leslie Howard Macefield
Leslie served in the RAF, he was passionate about lots of things, more so his family, wife, daughter, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He loved his garden and worked for 40 years building an oasis of calm and tranquility, whilst working for the MEM in Birmingham.

Born in 1932, near Winson Green, he then went to Evesham because of the war. Leslie found love in Hannover, Germany whilst stationed there, while serving in the RAF, and married in 1964 to Hildegard that came over to England three years before. He greatest passion was children, and together they began fostering in late 1960’s, and finally adopting in 1978. He loved fuchsia’s, and created a garden that was admired by many, hosting viewing for those interested. He loved travelling, and went many places as far as Australia on a boat in the 1950’s loved it so much stayed 3 years. Leslie was a music lover, listening to Andre Rieu, Carpenters, ABBA, Johnny Cash, and many more. He travelled many countries in Europe, Germany, Spain, Austria out to the Balearics and also to Canary Islands. He lived a long, happy and full life, having no regrets.Remembered by Shash A A Hussain
