Joy's story
Joy was born in Bidford on Avon in the 1950's and spent most of her life living in the village before moving to Stratford upon Avon in 2016 for pastures new.
During the 80's and 90's she spent time working at the Broom Tavern and many people grew to know her from her time here. In the 00's she worked in Boots in Stratford upon Avon and enjoyed her time working here.
She sadly passed away on 29th May after a short and unexpected illness. Her two daughters were able to get her home and spent time with her during the last 5 weeks of her life. She passed away with them both there with her.
She was a keen supporter of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and always suported them whenever she could, regularly donating to their charity shop in Stratford upon Avon. One of her last wishes was that donations were made to them in her memory.
