John Andrew Cresswell

In loving memory of John Andrew Cresswell

John's story

John was a loving family man and Dad and devoted his life to his love of motorbikes. He loveable rogue and the Peter Pan that never grew up. Everybody that had the privilege of meeting him said he always put a smile on their face. He started his motorbike journey at a young age starting from a garden shed and the back of a transit van. He went on to win two British championships in the late 80s and carried on racing until his own health put a stop to it. His love for the bikes didn’t stop there and he started up as a 1 man team with a young lad in the British championship trying to follow on in his footsteps. This soon progressed and got bigger and bigger and turned into a massive British talent cup team with the help of friends and sponsorship deals. In 2021 his team won the British championship which was momentous moment and something he never dreamt that would happen after all his years of hard work. He really was the best of the best in his sport and helped a lot of young rider get started in the sport and made them the riders they are today.

  • To my dad / John-Bon, oh how I miss you so much. There’s not enough words in the world for what I want to say to you but mainly I want to say thank you. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, thank you for holding my hand through every storm, thank you for never failing to tell me you’re proud of me even when I wasn’t proud of myself, thank you for every single lesson, thank you for being my dad. I’ll carry with me everything that you taught me for the rest of my life. I still have no idea how to cope with life without you, when my worlds falling apart you were the one holding the glue helping me piece it back together. I’ll keep our promise and I’ll make you proud, your race is over but you’ll forever live on. Love always, your Jobo xxxx To my John Bon, my Bagpuss I’m so sorry we won’t get to fulfil all the plans we made together, you were so excited for the future and everything it had to offer, the day you passed we went to look at a motorhome together as we wanted to go travelling with our little dogs and it breaks my heart that all of that has been taken away from us. Thank you for loving me so effortlessly and never failing to make me feel special, your love was like nothing I’ve ever experienced and it was an honour to be loved by you. You fought for so long and now it’s time for you to rest, you will forever have my heart, totally and completely irreplaceable 💔 Sleep tight my John, I will love you for the rest of my existence 😭👼🏼♥️💔 Forever yours, Louise

  • Dear uncle john The day god called your name it broke my heart in two but heaven needed another angel and unfortunately he picked you. It’s been the hardest thing to lose you and you mean so much to me but you’re in my heart uncle john and thats where you’ll always be. I wish I could rewind the clock or make it turn real slow so I could have hugged you one more time before you had to go. I wish I’d told you I loved you more often and I didn’t let you go alone as apart of my heart went with you the day you had to leave us to go your new home. You left me beautiful memories your love is still my guide, and though i cannot see you, I know you’re always be by my side. So until I see your smile again, I'll hold you in my heart. I love you From your Little Lucie locket ❤️ (Louise) x
