Glyn Michael Worrell

A much loved Dad, Husband, Son, Brother and Friend tragically taken from us on 2nd May 2022 aged just 54.

Glyn's story

Glyn was dad to three wonderful boys, Ben, Jacob and Isaac, and husband to Michala for 24 years. He was tragically taken from us on Jacob's 21st birthday on 2nd May 2022 without any warning. He had suffered a spontaneous subarachnoid haemorrage. He had not been ill in any way. Glyn was attended by many emergency services including the Air Ambulance who made every possible attempt to save him but sadly it wasn't to be. We have set up this tribute page in his memory and to show our gratitude for all the wonderful staff who work for the air ambulance.

Glyn Michael Worrell's Tributes

  • This money was raised in memory of Glyn at the celebration of his life on 31st May 2022 and with some donations received later. Donations to The Air Ambulance charity were at the request of his wife and sons who wished the Air Ambulance to be recognised for everything they did for him and those present on the day of his passing. These donations are from many of Glyn's family and friends. £800 was raised in total with half going to the Headway charity. Michala and the boys are incredibly grateful that we can make this donation in his memory.
