Ernest's story
Dad, Bill, enjoyed a well lived life moving from Walton in Yorkshire in 1950 to Coventry, a printer by trade, he met a fellow Yorkshire man in Coventry and formed their own printing business in 1954. A successful business then led him into the hotel trade, back in Yorkshire, two hotels later he ended up in Luton working with a long term business friend. His first wife, Vera, died in 1988 and dad remarried and had a further 30 plus years with Pat, how they loved travelling, creating a home in Northampton, moving to Spain in their 75th year, having 8 good years in the sunshine to come back to Northampton for their final years. A bit of a wander lust really.
Dad and Pat were extremely sociable and have many friends, old and new, became active members of their local society wherever they were, dad being Coventrian Mason he enjoyed everything he did.
