Ernest's story

Dad was born in West Ham on 30th June 1936. He was the youngest of four siblings. He married mum on the 18th January 1958 and had two daughters Carole and Lynne. He was blessed with five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Mum and dad spent many happy years together enjoying lots of holidays abroad with family and friends.
Dad was a great sportsman, who excelled in everything he did. He played a good standard of football well into his early fifties but his passion was golf and West Ham Utd.
Dad was a true gentleman and a lovely man, this was said by everyone who met him.
Dad holds a very special place in our hearts, we have always been proud of him and always will.
