Dave's story
Dad sadly passed away peacefully on Sunday 29th March 2020 with symptoms of Covid 19, contributing factors being COPD and heart disease.
Unfortunately we, his family, couldn't be there with him but a huge thank you to the Nurses in the Critical Care Unit at University Hospital Coventry who made sure he was not alone and took such special care of him.
Dad led a full-on life and spent most of his recent years in Kos, which he loved and never wanted to leave. He made lots of life long friends out there and was a big part of the community from his Karaoke to his Bingo.
He loved motorbikes and the Formula 1 Grand Prix was a favourite of his. He had various careers over his lifetime, including Lorry Driving and Engineering. He could put his hand to pretty much anything, fixing washing machines, building kitchens, and since being back in the UK, began building model aeroplanes. If something was broken, he would always seem to know how to fix it.
He was a Dad, Brother, Pappy, Great Pappy & Uncle and was loved by all, he will be hugely missed.
