Chris's story
On 24th November 2017 our Dad was air lifted to hospital by the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance after having a RTA on his motorbike. Unfortunately 2 weeks later he died. We owe so much to the air ambulance for giving my brothers, sisters and I a precious 2 weeks with him.
So we have all decided to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge to raise as much money as possible for the the DLR service.
On 4th May 2019 we will conquer these summits! The North Yorkshire 3 Peaks Route: Taking us over 3 of the highest peaks in Yorkshire – Pen-Y-Ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside – in the space of a single day. 24 miles in 12 hours.
This will be the toughest physical challenge any of us 6 have ever done but we will be united and able to support each other along the way and in the knowledge we are raising lots of money for such a deserving cause.
All of us would be so grateful for whatever amount you can give.
