In Memory of

Chris Donaldson

Chris was taken into the Royal Derby hospital on Christmas day 2021 his 77th birthday. The paramedics that came out to him where very caring and understanding, unfortunately Chris never got to come back home has he sadly died on the 30th December. He is greatly missed by everyone

Chris' story

Chris was the most kind and loving husband, dad, grandad, great grandad, brother and friend to many and who is greatly missed. He was a hard working and proud man and always thought of others first, even during times of illness himself. It's not surprising that he requested donations to the air ambulance in place of flowers for his funeral, as this charity meant a lot to him. We have decided to honour his memory by setting up this tribute page to enable future donations on special occasions to be made ❤️

What is a gift in your will?

Legacies, also known as gifts in Wills, have a profound impact on our charity, funding 1 in 7 of our lifesaving missions. Legacies are another way in which you can honour a loved one’s memory and that gift allows their memory to live on long into the future, allowing us to save lives of future generations in their name. If you have included such a special gift in your Will, you can now show that on your loved one’s page with a pledge, or you can request to learn more about legacies with our free Gifts in Wills Guide.
