Brian's story
Dad was a proud family man with a heart of gold. He would do anything for anyone without question and never ask for anything in return. He loved his family dearly and loved nothing more than a sleep(resting his eyes!) in his chair with the grandchildren. Dad didn't have lots of money but still found funds to go towards The Air Ambulance from a monthly donation to buying every pin badge that he could find(I found a box of these tidying his shed!). He loved the work that the charity does and was passionate about helping the service run. On the day of his passing the air ambulance actually attended but unfortunately he didn't get what would probably have been his final wish, a trip in the helicopter. To help keep his memory alive and continue the support for Air Ambulance that he was so passionate about myself and some friends will be cycling the NC500 next summer (2022). This involves riding 500miles with a total ascent of over 30000ft around the north coast of Scotland, starting and finishing in Inverness. We will be completing this in just 6 days of riding whilst raising as much money as possible for such a worthy cause in dads memory. This charity has helped so many local families and saves so many lives and yet receives no government funding so please give what you can afford, every penny counts.
