Betty may Phillips born 11/07/1946 gained her angel wings 17/03/2024 after a hard battle with cancer.

Betty's story

Betty was born in Leeds Royal infirmary in 1946, but moved to askern as a toddler. she was sister to 4, a mother to 2 and adopted a girl who had special needs, and also nannie to 4. She was married to her husband Ray for 55years. During her life she, was a nanny in America looking after 2 little boys, both Betty and Ray fostered many children over 15 years. She was an amazing mum who devoted her life to her family. She was a very loving, kind hearted, genuine lady, who was loved by everyone who knew her.
