A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 17.01pm and were on scene at 17.10pm. Patient suffered injuries after being struck by car. Assessed, treated and conveyed to hospital by land.
Helimed54 were called to attend a medical incident at 18.07pm and were on scene at 18.27pm. Patient was assessed and left with EMAS for further treatment.
Helimed54 were called to attend a medical incident at 11.15am and were on scene at 11.33am. Patient had suffered cardiac arrest and was transferred to hospital for further care.
Helimed54 were called to attend a leisure incident at 13.15pm and were on scene at 13.26pm. Patient suffered injury to right leg and was conveyed with TAAS to hospital for further care.
Helimed53 were called to attend a medical incident at 13.41pm and were on scene at 13.51pm. Patient had head injuries and was assessed before being left with EMAS for further treatment.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 15.45pm and were on scene at 16.04pm. Patients involved in motorcycle RTC. Our crew assisted on scene whilst patients were conveyed with other services to hospital
Helimed53 were called to attend an industrial incident at 16.38pm and were on scene at 16.53pm. Patient was assessed after suffering severe injury from machinery, before being conveyed to hospital with TAAS.
Helimed53 were called to attend an RTC at 15.10pm and were on scene at 15.20pm. Patients involved in RTC and were assessed before being left with other services.
Helimed53 were called to attend a leisure incident at 15.40pm and were on scene at 15.45pm. Patient was assessed after falling from horse before being left with EMAS for further care.
Medic54 were called to attend an RTC at 00.24am and were on scene at 00.48am. Assisted EMAS with the treatment of a patient who had sustained head and leg injuries, before transferring to hospital for further care.
Medic54 were called to attend an RTC at 15.00pm and were on scene at 15.13pm. Tasked to a collision where assistance and support were given to the fire and ambulance services.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 16.27pm and were on scene at 16.40pm. Multiple vehicle incident where support was provided to other services.
