A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Helimed54 were called to attend a sporting incident at 20.41pm and were on scene at 20.44pm. Patient had fallen from horse and was assessed before leaving with EMAS.
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 1.26am and were on scene at 2.06am. Patient trapped in car and sustained leg injuries following collision and was conveyed to the hospitall
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 22.53pm and were on scene at 23.20pm. Patient had sustained serious injuries and was conveyed by land to hospital.
Helimed53 were called to attend an RTC at 16.02pm and were on scene at 16.26pm. Patient was taken to hospital by road for further care.
Helimed53 were called to attend a medical incident at 8.27am and were on scene at 8.44am. Critical care was given to unwell patient before being conveyed to hospital.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 14.42pm and were on scene at 15.00pm. Patient sustained injuries following motocross accident and was transferred to hospital with TAAS via land.
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 19.42pm and were on scene at 20.00pm. Patient sustained multiple injuries and was conveyed by land to the hospital for further care.
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 10.02am and were on scene at 10.07am. Patient sustained head injury and was assessed and treated by paramedics before being conveyed to hospital by other service.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 14.38pm and were on scene at 15.10pm. Motorcycle RTC where patient required treatment for injuries before being transferred to hospital with other service.
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 23.49pm and were on scene at 00.11am. Patient sustained injury after being hit by a car at low speed and becoming trapped. Assisted with pain relief before WMAS conveyed to hospital.
Medic53 were called to attend a fall at 00.49am and were on scene at 1.02am. Patient fell and sustained suffered severe hip pain. Required sedation and advanced pain relief before being conveyed with TAAS to hospital.
Medic53 were called to attend a trauma at 18.21pm and were on scene at 18.31pm. Patient suffered cardiac arrest following trauma and was resuscitated on scene before being conveyed to hospital.
