A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 13.15pm and were on scene at 13.52pm. Offered assistance with assessment and extrication of motocross rider who had sustained leg and hand injuries.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 00.32am and were on scene at 00.54am. Two vehicles involved and 2x patients assessed, with one being conveyed to hospital with TAAS by land ambulance.
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 00.23am and were on scene at 00.32am. TAAS provided advanced pain relief on scene and escorted to patients to hospital via land.
Medic53 were called to attend an RTC at 21.55pm and were on scene at 22.11pm. Patient assessed for minor injuries before being taken to hospital by other service.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 7.37am and were on scene at 7.52am. Patient suffered minor head injury. Assessed by TAAS before being left with other service for transport to hospital.
Helimed53 were called to attend a trauma at 17.36pm and were on scene at 17.51pm. Young patient sustained head injury after coming off bike. Patient was assessed before being taken to hospital by EMAS.
Helimed53 were called to attend an assault at 20.43pm and were on scene at 20.55pm. Patient has sustained head injury and was assessed before being taken to hospital by WMAS
Helimed54 were called to attend a fall at 8.15am and were on scene at 8.50m. Assisted EMAS with the incident and assessed the patient before leaving in the care of the other services.
Helimed54 were called to attend a fall at 15.40pm and were on scene at 16.10pm. Assisted EMAS with a patient who had fallen in a rural area. Patient eas assesses and conveyed to hospital with TAAS by land.
G-TCAA worked alongside CATS to transfer a patient from one end of the country to the other, in just 29 minutes. This journey by land ambulance would have taken over 1.5 hours.
Medic53 were called to attend a medical incident at 19.20pm and were on scene at 19.37pm. Support given to a Patient in cardiac before being conveyed to hospital by land.
Helimed53 were called to attend a fall at 15.40pm and were on scene at 11.09am. Patient was assessed after falling and suffering head injury before being left with other services for further care.
