A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Medic54 were called to attend a medical incident at 9.35am and were on scene at 9.38am. Patient in seizure at workplace and was left with ambulance crew.
Medic53 were called to attend a fall at 13.32pm and were on scene at 13.43pm. Assisted crew with patient who had fallen before leaving with other service for further care.
Medic53 were called to attend a fall at 00.13am and were on scene at 00.25am. Patient had fallen down the stairs and sustained minor injuries. Left with WMAS.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 13.49pm and were on scene at 14.03pm. First on scene to incident involving motorcyclist and 2x patients. Conveyed patient to hospital by land.
Medic54 were called to attend a medical incident at 19.25pm and were on scene at 19.43pm. Patient in cardiac arrest was successfully resuscitated by EMAS and our team. Conveyed to hospital via land ambulance.
Helimed54 were called to attend an RTC at 15.39pm and were on scene at 16.04pm. Assisted EMAS with RTC where patient sustained severe injuries and was flown to hospital for urgent treatment.
Helimed53 were called to attend a medical incident at 15.45pm and were on scene at 15.59pm. Young patient assessed and transported to hospital by land ambulance.
Helimed53 were called to attend a medical incident at 9.35am and were on scene at 9.53am. Assessed and provided critical care to patient who was then conveyed to hospital for further treatment.
Medic54 were called to attend a trauma at 10.08am and were on scene at 10.25am. Assessed and treated patient who sustained injury. Conveyed to hospital by land ambulance with TAAS clinicians.
Medic54 were called to attend an RTC at 15.05pm and were on scene at 15.47pm. Assisted and treated patient entrapped following RTC. Conveyed to hospital for further treatment.
Medic54 were called to attend a fall at 8.28am and were on scene at 8.48am. Assisted EMAS with patient who had fallen. Patient left with other service for further treatment.
Medic54 were called to attend a medical incident at 10.58am and were on scene at 11.12am. Assisted EMAS with patient who was assessed and then conveyed with TAAS to hospital.
