A quick response 
to save Penny’s life
Last summer, a holiday to Whitby turned into a medical emergency for Penny, a 19-month-old toddler who had already faced a life-changing battle before. Less than a year earlier, at just 8 months old, Penny had undergone a lifesaving liver transplant at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. But as her family gathered for a relaxing summer break, Penny’s health suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Medic53 were called to a fall at 22.25pm and on scene at 22.57pm. Patient was assessed by our team before being transferred by the ambulance service for further care.
Helimed54 were called to a fall at 12.14pm and on scene at 12.21pm. Assisted EMAS with the care of a patient who had suffered a fall and conveyed to hospital by land.
Helimed54 were called to a RTC at 13.39pm and on scene at 14.05pm. Assisted EMAS in management of car collision. Patient assessed before left with other service for further care.
Helimed53 were called to a medical incident at 13.43pm and on scene at 14.05pm. Attended mission of patient in cardiac arrest, who was assessed before being left with other service for continued care.
Helimed54 were called to a fall at 15.22pm and on scene at 15.36pm. Assisted EMAS with a patient following a fall who was assessed before being conveyed to hospital by land.
Helimed54 were called to a RTC at 11.22am and on scene at 11.32am. First on scene to assess and provide care of a motorcyclist who was then conveyed by land for further care.
Helimed54 were called to a sporting incident at 12.02pm and on scene at 12.13pm. Cyclist had fallen and sustained head injury. Was assessed before being left with other service and taken to hospital.
Helimed53 were called to a medical incident at 16.15pm and on scene at 16.49pm. Patient in cardiac arrest was assessed and conveyed to hospital by land.
Helimed54 were called to a psychiatric incident at 14.56pm and on scene at 15.12pm. Assisted crews with extrication of patient before conveying to hospital by land ambulance.
Helimed54 were called to a medical incident at 19.16pm and on scene at 19.30pm. Assessed and anesthesised patient before conveying to hospital for further care.
Helimed54 were called to an RTC at 16.01pm and on scene at 16.38pm. Assisted LNAA with transporting a patient by air following a motorcycle accident for ongoing care.
Helimed54 were called to an RTC at 17.35pm and on scene at 17.50pm. Motorcyclist was transported by air to hospital for further care following a collision.
